Information the app uses
Shut Up Fly may request access to the iPhone camera, microphone, and motion sensors. These inputs are processed live on the device so flies can react to movement, sudden sound changes, device motion, and the player's approach.
Camera images and microphone audio are never recorded or saved.
No sensor uploads
Camera images, microphone audio, and raw gameplay sensor readings are not sent to the developer.
Information stored on the device
Shut Up Fly stores progress, settings, local scores, Hall of Fame entries, and a player-chosen local nickname on the device. This data may be included in Apple-operated device backup or transfer services.
Apple Game Center
Shut Up Fly optionally uses Apple Game Center for authentication and online leaderboards. If you are signed into Game Center, the app may submit scores and retrieve leaderboard information through Apple. Game Center is operated by Apple and is subject to Apple’s privacy practices. Shut Up Fly does not send camera images, microphone audio, or raw sensor readings to Game Center.
Sharing
When you choose to share a score card, Apple’s system share sheet lets you select the destination. Sharing occurs only after your action. Information sent to another app or service is then governed by that service’s privacy practices.
Data collection and tracking
Shut Up Fly does not contain third-party advertising or analytics software. The developer does not use advertising identifiers, track players across apps or websites, sell player data, or share player data for advertising.
Deleting local data
Local Shut Up Fly data can be removed by deleting the app. Game Center information is managed through the player’s Apple account and Apple’s services.
Children's privacy
Shut Up Fly is rated 13+. The app does not offer a developer-operated account or knowingly request personal information from players.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date below will be updated before the revised practices take effect.
